Honey, the Selfs' German Pointer, boon companion to Darling.
Our range consists of food, bones, biscuits and treats. We will also make up a gift hamper for you, which is an excellent way to sample all our products.
Most of our customers start by ordering 28 days’ supply of food and – once they are confident that it is everything we promise – ask us to supply them on a regular basis. Regular customers with more than one dog, by the way, also benefit from an extra discount.

Darling’s Real Dog Food is all made to order
Darling’s Real Dog Food is all made to order and comes in three varieties:
- Free range chicken
- Prime beef
- Tender lamb
Each variety contains approximately two-thirds raw meat and ground bone and one-third grated raw vegetables. To learn more about our food please visit the Ingredients area of the website.
Summary of food ingredients
Free range chicken
Whole raw minced chicken and finely ground bones (66%). Grated carrot, turnip, broccoli and other seasonal vegetables (33%).
Prime beef
Prime minced beef (22%). Minced ox heart (11%). Finely ground calf bone (33%). Grated carrot, turnip, broccoli and other seasonal vegetables (33%).
Tender Lamb
Tender minced lamb breast (22%). Minced lamb heart (11%). Minced chicken complete with finely ground bone (33%). Grated carrot, turnip, broccoli and other seasonal vegetables (33%).
We supply food for 28 days at a time. We make it fresh and deliver it overnight in insulated boxes with freezer blocks. We recommend placing it in your freezer on receipt and taking out the next day’s food before going to bed.
The cost is linked to the weight of your dog and whether you opt for organic or farm assured meat and vegetables. The exact price will be calculated for you as part of the order process. Here are some typical examples:

Darling’s Working Dog Food – save 17.5%!
We offer two ‘working dog’ formulas both of which are VAT free saving you 17.5% on the cost.
Darling’s Out of Season Working Dog Food is designed for working dogs that are resting or in low-level training. Many owners feed it to ordinary (non-working) dogs with excellent results.
Darling’s Active Working Dog Food is designed for working dogs that are exercising heavily and need extra energy.
All working dog food is available in the three recipes mentioned above: free range chicken, prime beef and tender lamb. You can opt for organic or farm assured ingredients. See the Ingredients area of the website for details.

Darling’s pure, natural beef bones
Bones are important for two reasons. Firstly, they provide vital nutrients including calcium, complex (good) fats and vitamins. Secondly, the actual chewing of the bones is what keeps a dog’s teeth and gums healthy. Chewing and gnawing is also, believe it or not, excellent exercise and helps a dog to stay fit. We recommend giving your dog a fresh bone every day or every other day.
We offer a bag of five scrumptious ‘lollipop’ bones suitable for all dogs for £7.50.
All our bones are beef (from young animals) and are uncooked making them safe for dogs of all sizes to chew (it is cooked bones that can pose a health risk to some dogs).

Darling’s Homemade Biscuits
Our homemade biscuits are hand baked in our own kitchens. We use only the finest ingredients (including wholewheat flour) and, as you would expect, we have no truck with preservatives, sugar, salt, colouring or other chemicals.
Note, if your dog is wheat or gluten intolerant then our Natural biscuits are the perfect option as we make them without wheat. See the Ingredients page for details. Darling’s Homemade Biscuits are available in three flavours:
